turn key, no crank 140-160 1972

"Buzzing" is somewhat unusual. Sure you're not just hearing the fuel pump running?
How old is the battery?

I would start with cleaning the battery connections. Actually remove them and clean them before reattaching. Might be a good idea to clean the connections at the starter and alternator as well.

Not saying it can't be the starter, but I like to check the easy, inexpensive things first.
