123 GT Headliner Bow Color-coding

The green book says the the headliner bows are numbered 1 through 5. I'm getting ready to install a new headliner in my '68 123 GT. Unfortunately, I was not around when these were removed, so I don't have memory of how they go.

The ones for my GT aren't numbered. They are color coded with paint at the ends: Black, yellow, brown, red and light blue.

The black one is the longest. May I assume this the the rearmost one that attaches with clips?

What is the order of the rest of them? Do any of these use clips, or just rubber end plugs?

I've read that the headliner install can be done independently of the wind lacing, right?

I've also heard that things go easier if the front and rear glass is out of the car when doing the headliner.

Meanwhile, if anybody has a mint set of tan (425-552) rear seat side panels taking up extra room in their garage, please let me know.

Thanks
Will
