So that was a post that did "not" become one? No sense wasting the typing effort. (:-)
You might want to see what number 561 ECU color is. No pinkie one, do you want! It's my understanding that they can loose the ground circuit for that relay.
These relays, by themselves, conk out so much I think we should look into installing another of one of those relays in parallel. Like a running backup or redundant system.
Don't know if the ECU can carry the load of two relay coils?
Only a few tenths of an ampere each, I imagine?
Maybe install an emergency toggle switch in the glove box, to shift one over from the other, for our women folks to use.
I carry a spare relay to install like you.
Along with some shoe laces or a rubber band, I can bum! (:-)
