Hi oldduke,

FYI. When I bought my car, the transmission kicked 1st into 2nd gear like a F1 racing car with a loud, "bang!". After changing with the Mobile1 synthetic fluid, it has been shifting much smoother and quieter. By the way, it took many miles and months to shift smooth again. I thought that I needed a new transmission. I feel so lucky for now.
