Glad I didn't bet against you guys(and your 99.99% probability!).

You drilled it- bad wire to switch. Had a local shop check (and repair) it.

I'm going to talk to the mechanic when I pick it up and find out whether he got to it from under the car (and if so, if he had to do any mechanical gymnastics to get to it) or if there was another approach.

Thanks again for the quick responses - looking forward to having directionals back this afternoon.
