Look for your intake air hose to have a big fold in it.
This is the hose from the air mass meter to the throttle body.
Under high flow (full throttle) conditions, the air hose can collapse and choke the engine. High vacuum from then on keeps the hose flattened.
Replace the air hose or re-shape it in a way that prevents it from collapsing. I've seen creative things done with spring or wire to keep them from folding up but they aren't expensive new, last time I checked.
A good used one is always an option.
