Flywheel resurfacing is oversold. Sometimes they need it, mostly they don't.
Diaphragm pressure plates are smoother, clamp just as well, and chatter less. Also shorter.
Volvo did use Borg and Beck in the early sixties. So did Ferrari.
I used to charge five hours for a clutch in a 240, and four hours in 120 without overdrive. So the dealer should have the flat rate which has to be under six hours. What, $100 an hour now, maybe 120? Six hundred labour. Might pad it with a rear main seal, about 15 minutes tops. Clutch kit, trans oil change, so under $1000. Maybe some u-joints. They'll all look for things that can make a new clutch seem chattery, and you can't blame them. Steady bearings, whatever. Engine mounts. It can add up.
Can't tell til you get in there. The old song.
