I daresay there is a wire or two from the automatic OD setup that could be scavenged if you trace it--pull a schematic up in Bentley and see. That said, the OD setup is so simply, you should just wire it up yourself. Go with the earlier OD setup, the later one with the more complex relay is a pain.
Don't forget to insulate the edge of the shifter opening with a slit piece of hose where you cross it with the harness going to the OD switch. Same for the harness going down to the trans. By the way, you can overfill your trans by using the fourth gear switch port!
When we convert cars to manual trans, we use almost exclusively the nine inch clutch with the "dog dish" flywheel. It's smoother and lighter, and the smaller lighter drivers don't complain about it. Not that the 8.5" clutch is terribly heavy, but there is a noticeable difference. 9" is nicer in traffic for sure.
