Clockspring replacement and removal? Starting with the airbag... 700 1990

Well, I suspect the clockspring is messed up because my horn doesn't work unless I pound on the spot where the clockspring sits and I've verified the wiring is fine other than the clockspring.

I'll still disconnect the battery as I'd rather be overly safe than sorry, but I appreciate the other tips.
