I think I gave bad advice. IIRC, the special camshaft timing tools are only needed if you unbolt the camshaft sprockets from the shafts themselves. There are marks on the cam sprockets and the crank sprocket to get the timing phasing right when merely replacing the belt. But if you need a new belt and associated idlers and tensioner rollers, you may still be looking at around $300 parts and labour at the shop.
