I recently bought a used radio from a 960 in the Pick-n-Pull. I took the used radio to the local dealer's parts department. From the radio serial number they gave me the radio code without having to provide the VIN from the donor car. The dealer will also provide the radio code to independent Volvo repair shops with just the radio serial number.
