Engine Temp 120-130

The thermostat temp is the temp that it begins to open at. So point at the aluminum housing. Should be nearly that temp, maybe 10 degrees higher. Lower rad hose should be quite a bit less.
The easy method is to get the engine hot and then shut it off and feel the radiator fins across it's entire surface. Should be a nice gradient of temperature, decreasing to the outlet. If it's really hot near the inlet, and gets cold quickly as you move away from the inlet, then the rad is plugged.
