there are many other "side projects" that open up once you strip the front end down.

fer instance...how old is your water pump...with everything off it's so much easier to replace....what's the cost of that Xtra part when you think of yr time

all the hoses....arg...timing belt tensioner....crank..intermed...cam seals...valve adjustment...cam cover gasket...thermostat...rebuild alternator, bearings, brushes.(yeh you need it esp if the Belts were mis-aligned)

think...next time 60K later...you can just replace the timing belt cause you've done the rest.

oh yeh Motor mts...easy with the alt and the oil filter off....tranny mt.

should take only about a very long weekend.
