Right you are. I think Suzuki built an 8 cylinder for the XC90. Might have been Mitsubishi, but I think it was Suzuki...

Personally, I would stick with the tried and true 5 cyl. turbo if you can find one. Better gas mileage than the 6 and 8 cyl. too.
