No worries.

New universal ignition switch worked by 1) not smoking and 2) actually starting the car. So that's solved. Not sure how well it will mount though, since it's currently hanging under the dash.

Also got the starter button to work thanks to Matt's advice!

Thanks for the help guys. Looks like we're good to go!!
