ambient temp not reading 3 blank dashes S90-V90

my v-90 ambient temp display no longer displays the temp
during the summer is started running up real high crazy readings
like 135f i assumed it was the censer under the front bumper and changed
it to a new one its not its still blank on the display still shows the F
and the thermometer pic on the left and then 3 dashes so i assume the display
is still working and not getting any input anyone experience this problem ?
