Speedo gear

Hello George,

I checked an original Volvo parts manual for a 164.

And in the overdrive section, the 2 part numbers for the speedometer drive gears are listed along with the rear end ratios associated with the 2 numbers.

A speedometer drive gear is not listed for a 3.31 rear end only for 3.54 and 3.73.

Did you convert these car to overdrive, change the rear axles or the ring and pinions?
