... the tumbler assembly and chrome bezel may be withdrawn from the FRONT.

If you want to replace the whole ignition switch assembly, once you have removed the tumbler assembly, the switch can be removed from the dashboard by removing the two phillips-head screws on the underside of the dash below the ignition switch. If the ignition switch and coil are original, they will be connected by an armored cable such that the coil and ignition switch must be removed and replaced together. This is pricey.
