Center Console electrical

Thank You for taking the time:
I used yesterday's beautiful weather in in NE to disassemble the dash outdoors where there was good natural light:
the harness was disconnected to the center console- who knows how or why, and some of the bulbs were loose- all fixed. I would say that whether they are more expensive or not, retrieving bulbs from the junk-yard might not be time or money well spent.
I revived the radio, both speakers (as they often do) had come disconnected, I crimped on on, both the other cone was too far gone. Unfortunately Crutchfield has discontinued the speaker adapter plates that allow for 4" speakers to be installed and the oem grills reused- therefor I am forced to cut the old speakers apart to use the faceplate as an adapter for new speakers (it amazes me how new parts availability has dwindled in the past couple years. the original radio works well, I will wear it out.
I had no luck in fixing the automatic overhead light- perhaps that is disconnected somewhere.
