question 120-130

If you can stick weld you can mig weld it's way easier to do. Trying to arc weld relatively thin metal panels is very difficult-ask me how I know.

In my experience it is better/cheaper etc to pay more up front for a car that has a sound body
than to try to restore a car that has seen better days. While I applaud your efforts, I assume this is your 59 4 door that you are talking about, I just worry that the costs will eventually run you over and you'll be sorry that you ever started. I mean it sounds like you're headed for $5,000 +- of work before you can even start the details. What could you get for that money? For $7,500 I bought a So California 67 wagon that needed minimal work, if any. Anything I've done to it was because I wanted to not because I had to. Think it over carefully okay?
