About getting old sensor out...

Plus one.

Every sensor I've removed has been done like this. I don't own the "tool." However, that one in the photo doesn't even look like an oxygen sensor of any type I've seen, and the rust is, yes, considerable. My first thought on seeing it was a thermocouple for the EGR cars, since I've never seen one, or maybe it is a brand of oxygen sensor I haven't come across, because I don't think anything else got screwed into the cat.
