Check engine code help needed 200 1989

Codes for the OBD diagnostics on the 240 were very general and only lead you in a direction such as in this case the engine is running too rich or lean. This could be due to the O2 sensor or any number of other thing such as an air leak after the AMM.

Always reset codes by removing the 25 amp fuse near the battery and see if it returns. If it does first look for air leaks after the AMM to the intake manifold gaskets and make sure the vacuum lines are good.
