Argh! Broken Spark Plug

Believe it or not, Snap-On sells a tool to work on Plug extraction of Fords. With all these 100K mile Plug changes, Many Fords, for some reason, have this Broken plug issue. The tool cost more then your car BUT if you had the Car salesman guy do it, he may have bought the tool.
When I do Ball joints I do not count the turns, I Usually measure a point on the Tie rod to the center of the ball joint. Then I screw the new one in until I get the same measurement. In the days of Zerk Fittings, I would just measure to the center of the fitting.
