I've got 50 in #1

Does it run on 4 cylinders? Usually, You need 90 psi minimum before a cylinder will fire.

Is this the likely cause of the head going bad? Another thing that comes to mind is I always use the cheap grade of Chevron gas. Plus I was experimenting with the timing back then, may have had it advanced too much.

How many miles does it have on it? 110,000 miles is the limit of the original Mahles if you are driving hard.

What compression ratio does it have?
