check the fuses - there is a fuse for the o2 sensor.
Also, you can check the function of the o2 sensor easily if you have a multimeter (voltmeter). Start the car and let it warm up to operating temp -Dont disconnect the o2 sensor lead (at the firewall) - but peel back the rubber insulator so you can probe the connector with the positive lead of the multimeter - ground the negative lead of the meter to the battery neg. post. You should see the readings fluctuating between .250 and .750 volt every couple of seconds. If so, your )2 sensor is working fine. If it gives a steady reading around .4 - .5 volts and/or only fluctuates slightly then its bad.
