Red colored fluid started coming out at 8 qt stage. I figured that was good enough, especially since I had used SeaFoam Transmission flush additive to clean out the passages.
It has worked great so far as I do not get the shuddering and bucking coming to a stop that I used to get. I think the bands (clutches) were not disengaging due to the dirty fluid and now they are.
