My 91 945T has a hard vibration or shudder from what seems to be the driveline, on initial acceleration. It will not occur if I accelerate slowly (to the annoyance of people behind me), and it does not occur once I am above about 10mph no matter how hard I stomp the accelerator.
I have removed the driveline to see it Ujoints are binding, and they are not. I have checked the tailshaft bushing, and it is good.
Is this hard vibration symptomatic of trailing arm bushings allowing the rear end to rotate on startup? If so, why does it occur only below about 10mph?
Thanks
John D.
