Fuel hose source ===== EDITed at 6:13 PM EDT 700 1990

"Since it hasn't come loose so far, will just order from Tasca on Monday and hope the old one makes it until the replacement arrives."

Could you put a couple of hose clamps on it and maybe pinch the split shut -- or at least slow the leak. That may be where a lot of your fuel pressure is going.

EDIT: In fact, you might want to hold off on the tank pump reseat until you can at least moderate the pressure lost at that fuel feed line. I can see where that might be most if not all of the problem.

The pic below shows a used banjo (with a short line section) spliced to my feed line after the original banjo sprung a rust leak. The "coupling" is a short length of 5/16" pipe with each hose end double-clamped. It held fine while I waited for the real deal.
