Excellent point Art

My rule of thumb is if it might significantly alienate my relationships with my kids it better be something really important like drunk driving or violent behavior. Car maintenance would be gravy, piercings and tatoos annoying

But none of those are worth risking relationship over.

Clearly the poster is not in danger of this but I thought I'd add to Art's point.
