advice on changing struts S90-V90

i have a 1998 V90, 223k and counting. The struts are worn, leaking a bit of oil. I have the Chilton 1990-1998 repair manual. I also have a Bentley manual for a 240. The Chilton shows the same work sequence for 240 and 70/90s.

Anyways, i read the work sequence. Aside from the issues of compressing the spring, how difficult is this to do? Special (Volvo)tools are referenced. DO I reallly need those tools? I have a decent tool collection, including torque wrenches. Anything that I will ned that would not be part of a normal tool collection?

Lastly, what about the front suspension grommets in general. Do I replace all of them when doing the strut, or does it not make any difference. Anything else I should be looking at replacing while I have the struts out?

Thanks!
