repacking front wheel bearings in a 1991 745 700

before i begin with my question,i want to thank all the volvofreaks out there that have help me out with all my questions and have given great answers. i operate the sara rose foodbank. we deliver lunches to 45 to 50 handicap-blind and older citizens. i use the 745 every day. i believe in maintenance. now, here is my question? i am replecing the front strut and sway bar bushings- seeing that i am into the job that close-i started to look at the repacking the the front wheel bearings- this is the first 745 that i have own. i have had 544-122-140-240 witch have the cotter key type system. this 1991 745 has not cotter key system but a 1 7/16 nut which my impack cannot loosen. it is left handed treads or right handed tread??? i have got to get a book on this model to look up the problem of repacking the the front wheeling bearing. please can somebody help me with this problem? i am going to finish the strut job and do the front wheel packing job for later. i have got to get food out to the people in need, thanks- kim richardson- sara rose foodbank
