Valves

So I plan to change head gasket, I will replace those hushers also . Since I had ordered that elring kit I was wondering if I should go ahead and change the valve stem seals as well. The car has 240 K and I have not noticed any issue with valves except some valve chatter. So in case the valve is removed , must they be ground in their seat with carborundum paste before installing.

Is it worth the effort or just change the hushers and move on.

Regards,
