Worked on it yesterday with no success. I am going to take your advice and cut the nut off. I will remove all the other nuts on the manifold first and cut this nut last (just in case I run into a snag, I don't want to have one stud not secured somehow).

I will work on it again next Saturday and see if I can make some progress.
I will post with my results.
