Hello,


Checking the intake manifold and hoses for leaks is quite simple. Get some starting fluid and spray around the hoses and manifold. If the idle speed changes, you have found a leak. Avoid spraying the exhaust manifold and high voltage components.

The symptoms of stalling in drive and the hesitation you've been experiencing are chief symptoms of an air leak.
