Hello,

There are a couple of things that can cause the shifter to rattle.

There are 2 bushings in the chrome part of the handle that could be bad or the circlip that retains the chrome handle to the stub shaft.

The plastic washer for the spring under the shifter nut can be broken or the spring itself could be broken.

All of the aforementioned parts are available new and I have them in stock.
