Need advice on a 2002 V70 XC 2002

Hey guys,
I found a 2002 V70XC with 98k on the odomoter the lot is asking $6800. I have owned 7 other volvos-all 240 series so I am intimate with those guys but I am completely ignorant of the V70's. I know will have to put it in the shop immediately for front CV's. What are the issues you guys have seen with this model. As well, is this anywhere near reliable as my other 240's? Would you recommend buying this or should I walk away? By the way, it has no service history. The mechanic at the lot said the timing belt was replaced at 96K. It appears clean cosmetically but, as I said I have no idea what the mechanics are. I just need some advice about the common issues associated with this model. Thanks for everything you guys do.
