this is all good to know, i have a set of genuine e-codes sitting in the garage for a sunny day (i know, i should put them on for a rainy day, but i hate working in the cold/wet). i got them on ebay and the reason i'm not putting them on yet is that i want to take the time to clean them with a q-tip and toothbrush inside and out first, measure the light from the original plastic, put the ecodes on with stock wiring, measure the light again, then upgrade the wiring and measure again. i'll do this with a camera meter and take photos, measure the voltage (warm i suppose) and then put up a page on my website with the results.
the lights i got have grey trim and i'm going to see how those look on my car. if i don't like them, i'm either going to try to mod my original chromes or try to get some from fcp groton.
