Power seat problem - not typical! 900 1997

All fixed, but I haven't got a clue what made it work. I put the controller back in and it decided to behave itself. I was feeling so good that I fixed the cable problem with the fore/aft movement. Now I can sell the car with my head held high - everything works perfectly!
