They sound like typical aftermarket garbage, you get what you pay for. As far as your concerns of the lip go, don't worry about it as the rotor will wear away and it will form a lip on the inner and outer edges of the rotor, regardless of the brand or how it is machined. Maybe Brembo has improved their product since I tried to use them last but last time I used them they were garbage. I find that ATE rotors and factory pads are a great combination, YMMV
