Al,

I'm a penny pincher myself, but I succumbed to Monroe #32126 at $15.34 (last time I looked) a piece from Rock Auto. At few hundred miles per year, they should last a long time. Even at the couple of thousand per year I put on I put on them, they'll probably last my or the car's lifetime - whoever goes first. ;-)
