Temp Comp Board Question 200

I have a problem on my 1992 240 that I'm just about certain is the temperature compensation board issue that these cars are apparently known for. While I found lots of helpful information about the TCB problem here, I can't find a clear explanation of where the board is. I'd like to pull it and start by cleaning the contacts.

One writer to a previous post says the TCB issue is discussed in detail in the 700 FAQ but I'll be darned if I can find it. Another said he just pulls the felt under the instrument panel and jiggles the board. Well, I just pulled the felt on mine and can't see what looks like a circuit board (which is pictured in another post that discusses the bypass solution).

Where is the TCB, and what's the quickest and easiest way to get at it so I can try cleaning the contacts?

Pete
