Daughter's 87 245 250,000+ miles, occasionally the speedometer needle will fall to zero, daughter discovered that a healthy bang on the top of the dash over the cluster usually restores the speedometer. After looking at prior posts in archives, I don't readily suspect the sending unit due the smack of the hand fix. Will check cluster connections this weekend. Any other suggestions ??
