Hi all,

Is it possible to take the top nut fully off of the strut in order to replace the washer underneath the nut? The car is jacked up with the weight off of it. I'm assuming nothing can come apart while everything else is in place.

Also, from reading through other post it sounds like a 1.5" O.D. washer with 0.75" ID is the correct washer.

For some reason there was no washer in there...there was also a venezuelan strut insert that seemed to be made very poorly...
