160 Fuel Pump 140-160 1973

I have a fuel pump from a 72 142E and was going to put on a 73 164. The pumps are different as the 72 has 3 hoses that go to it and the 73 has 2. Can I plug one? I'm asking because apparently 73 and 72 pumps are no longer available.
