this is the simplist question but I cannot find the answer. what are the mechanics of setting the base timing for a 740-940? I lost the notes I made many years ago. I assume that it is 10 BTDC, but do you have to plug/disconnect any thing?

I have the complete factory manuals - the information is not listed in them

I have tried the FAQ - but it is not listed there (I spend about an hour searching for it - but no luck)

I tried a pure google search - again no luck

why is something so basic so hard to find????????????
