Just got an 89 764ti, have Q's?? 700 1989

All 240's thru 88 had block- mounted distributor w/hall switch.All 740T/760T from 85 thru 89 had rear mt.dist.w/switch.A few 940's had block mt.dist,but no switch.

System is reasonably reliable,occasionly Hall switch failure,can be replaced without buying whole dist.Plastic connector will break and fall out,sometimes causing a short.
