That really helped, as what it showed up was a drain on the aftermarket AM/FM/CD radio.

Actually the test light would come on just for a moment - a very weak light - and then would fade away. When I took the fuse out for the radio, it stopped doing this. Other things, such as opening the door, or turning on the parking lights - made the test light came on full and bright and stayed bright till the circuit was closed.

For the moment I am going to let her drive it without the radio working, and I will take care of it later. Should be the culprit, though. If not I will post back.

I still need to get a meter and learn to use it - regardless - but this looks to have done the trick for now.
