Rough Ride - Basic Suspension 120-130 1968

Lately the overall ride quality in my 1968 130S had really dipped. I've checked suspension bushings all around and found no problems. The front was recently rebuilt and I'm preparing to install blue poly Upper-A bushings for longevity. I already have some poly endlinks and the lower A-arm bushings are in great shape.

Nothing is noticeably loose but the ride has gotten pretty harsh. I'm not bouncing around as though I have no shocks, but a trip over rough pavement is becoming rather uncomfortable.

I'm not sure if I'm just looking at very old failing shocks (replacement KYBs are en route) or my my springs have sagged too far or if I have overlooked bushing trouble by not actually removing the torque rods, panhard, and trailing arms (I do know they are not rattling around loosely - I've seen that kind of failure before).

I realize we're talking about a whole system working together here, but does the harsh ride strongly indicate failure in one of these systems?

Aside from the bouncy-car-test how can I tell if my shocks are really the problem?
