Vent window lock glue? 140-160 1972

Last week on the way home, the vent window lock I bought from IPD just sort of fell off on the highway. It being a very busy time of day, I decided to leave it. I still have the originals, which weren't attached when I got the car. I'd like to put them back on. What kind of glue do people use? Any other tips?
