The FAQ says the only B230 engine that is an interference type is the E. In the maintenance records that came with the car there were a few pamphlets from the shop that did most of the work advising a timing belt change. They checked the box marked interference engine. I'm assuming the FAQ is correct, was the shop just trying to scare the customer into getting their belt changed?
